Éléonor Riesco is a professor at the Faculty of Physical Activity Sciences at the Université de Sherbrooke. A specialist in exercise physiology, her research focuses on the effects of physical activity on the prevention and management of chronic diseases, ageing, frailty, and cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
Deeply involved in research, she leads several projects focusing on non-pharmacological interventions and personalised exercise prescription. Her work contributes to the development of innovative, evidence-based approaches aimed at improving health, independence and quality of life across populations.
