Magali Ferrer Rigaud is an expert patient actively involved in the development of participatory research, therapeutic patient education and healthcare partnerships. She holds a University Diploma in “The Art of Care in Partnership with Patients” and a University Certificate in Therapeutic Patient Education for Expert Patients. She works with healthcare professionals, students and patients to promote a collaborative approach to care.

Involved in several national research projects, notably within the CANCEPT network and Inserm working groups, she contributes to the development of research methodologies that fully integrate patients’ lived experience. She also teaches in several university and paramedical training programmes, sharing her expertise on care pathways, ethics, invisible disabilities and chronic diseases. Her commitment highlights the importance of co-constructing knowledge and recognising the role of patients in improving healthcare practices.
