With a dual university degree in STAPS and psychology applied to health, Grégory Ninot has been an academic in Montpellier since 1999, and a professor since 2008. He co-directs the Desbrest Institute of Epidemiology and Public Health, an INSERM and University of Montpellier research unit. His research focuses on the evaluation of non-pharmacological interventions (NPIs), science-based practices that complement biomedical treatments. He is a research fellow at the Montpellier Cancer Institute and has contributed to the activities of the SIRIC Montpellier Cancer since its inception in the fields of prevention and supportive care. He chairs the international learned society dedicated to the development of research and innovation in NPIs, the Non-Pharmacological Intervention Society. He is the author of 12 books and more than 150 publications in medical and scientific journals.
