Grégory Ninot has been an academic in Montpellier since 1999 with a dual degree in physical exercise science and psychology applied to health. His research focuses on the evaluation of NMIs in chronically ill, cancer-affected, or vulnerable individuals, and on NMI evaluation methodologies. He has been a research fellow at the Montpellier Cancer Institute since 2018. He has been a member of the Institut Universitaire de France since 2024. In 2011, he founded a collaborative university platform for epistemological reflection on the evaluation of NMIs in Montpellier, which became an international learned society in 2021, the Non-Pharmacological Intervention Society (NPIS). In 2016, he co-founded an international research network on clinical trials evaluating behavioral health interventions, the International Behavioral Trials Network (IBTN). He is the author of 14 books and more than 180 publications in medical and scientific journals.
