A University Lecturer, HDR, Pierre Louis Bernard (Pierrick) has initial training in human movement science, specializing in exercise physiology. A gerontologist with a Master's degree in physical training engineering, his scientific and educational commitment lies at the interface of motor efficiency and impairment issues. Applied to the gerontological sector and within the Euromov DHM research team, his work focuses primarily on assessing the effects of aging and the effects of exercise on postural, muscular, and functional adaptations. Within the UFR STAPS, he is responsible for the APAS Bachelor's degree, the GESAPPA Master's course and directs the DU "prevention of loss of autonomy and falls in the elderly" at the University of Montpellier.
