Mathis Brier is an osteopath and PhD candidate in clinical research at Nantes University, where his research focuses on the evaluation of non-pharmacological interventions, clinical trial methodology, and the development of quality indicators for chronic pain management. His career combines clinical practice, strong training in biostatistics, and a commitment to rigorous, evidence-based research.

Highly involved in advancing health research, he teaches research methodology and statistics, participates in several international networks dedicated to improving the evaluation of health interventions, and contributes to numerous scientific studies on manual therapies and non-pharmacological interventions. Within NPIS, he supports early-career researchers and contributes to the work of the Scientific Committee to promote innovative, collaborative and reproducible research practices.
